1. Design & Engineering
We have a strong team of designers and engineers who work closely together to bring to life the idea you have for your space, whether residential or commercial. Before production begins, they build a prototype first for your approval and testing. We like being sure that all our products are solid and safe. Once they pass the scrutiny of the engineers, production can begin.
2. Precision Fabric Cutting
We handle both small and large projects, which is why we have invested in state-of-the-art cutting equipment. Our teams are trained to work with the machines to produce products all cut to the exact measurements. If you want something replicated a thousand times, be assured all your products will be the same with 100% accuracy.
3. Metal Fabrication
Others outsource their metal fabrication work, but we believe that one can control the quality when everything is done in-house. With the advantage of years of experience, our advanced team can produce even the most difficult projects with ease. 5. Graphics
If you need anything printed like a logo, worry not, as our team works with experienced graphic designers who will ensure your design is translated to the fabric. We have a team waiting to work with you to bring those designs to life for your branding needs.
6. Installation
Our work does not just end at producing structures, we have also been installing covers for over 40 years. Over this period, we have picked up a few things that make our team the best at producing and installing the finished product at the site. We have worked with residential and commercial properties, and you can rest assured we will leave your structure firmly fixed.
The Hugh and Margaret Schilling Amphitheater
The Canvas Craft team was tasked with shading millions of Minnesotans attending the annual Minnesota trade fair for this project. The temperature can get relatively high in the range of 80° and above.
The fair organizers wanted something artistic while also practical. We did not disappoint them as the Agora-style shade is magnificent and an attraction for the fairgoers. The engineering and materials used in the project were of the highest standards. The results are a testament to this.
The fabric is high in the structure, providing shade while also being a sight to behold. It has maintained its shape and structure thanks to the quality work. It has become a landmark and attracts a lot of people to the food vendors placed around it.
Chick-fil-A
When Chick-fil-A approached us, we did not know that the solution we designed for them would be so unique to the point that we would end up applying for a patent. They needed to increase their registers as the demand for drive-thrus was rising as the dining-in opportunities reduced due to the covid-19 restrictions.
The booths ensured they maintained the serving speed in the face of the pandemic. These booths also needed to keep staff warm in winter as they went about their register duties. The drive-thru shelters have enabled the restaurant to add their registers, hence increasing their volume. It was not much, but it helped the business grab the opportunity.
River Inn
For the River Inn, the solution was straightforward. They needed something small that would provide the atmosphere of an intimate and memorable dinner, even in the winter. We built a collapsible frame equipped with vinyl windows and a simple door system. We call them patio cabanas, which can further be customized to include insulated fabric, enhancing the uniqueness of the experience.
The team at Canvas Craft includes engineers and laborers on staff. But architects, designers, and other engineers are contracted on a need basis to ensure your project goes smoothly up to installation. To your satisfaction, we closely monitor the design, material sourcing, sewing and fabrication, and delivery and installation.
