JOB TITLE: Commercial Sewer

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Otsego, MN

Department: Operations

Pay Grade: $19+ based on experience

Schedule: Full Time

Overtime Requirements: As Required to meet customer expectations

Summary/Objective:

To support the ongoing operations at Canvas Craft and to enhance the quality of the customer experience with a positive and team-oriented attitude.

Essential Functions:

This job requires the individual to perform many skills related to the operations and production of the Canvas Craft Team. This Individual must be organized and detail oriented. Employee must have the ability to multitask and accomplish many different tasks throughout the workday. Duties and Responsibilities

Sewing Expectations

  • Must be flexible to work in different departments as demand arises.

  • Perform minor daily maintenance on sewing machines.

  • Must be able to set up and adjust sewing machine for proper performance.

  • Basic understanding of single needle, double needle, serger, box-x.

  • Follow written and verbal sewing processes on products.

  • Basic understanding of cutting and patterning.

  • Work area organization and cleanliness.

  • Quality Control at expected level.

  • Aware of sewing times per job and hitting expectations.

  • Cross trained in areas: Boat and Sport, Production, Industrial, Awning
