SHOP ASSISTANT
This job requires the individual to be actively involved with multiple types of canvas and metal shop projects. Working directly with our team lead, you will assist in a variety of elements aiding in the construction and fabrication of some of Canvas Craft’s most important work. While this position is an entry level position, there is room for advancement, and the candidates we are looking for have a desire to advance within a growing company.
For the Shop Assistant position, we look for qualified candidates with the following attributes:
-Possess basic knowledge of construction tools.
-Have a willingness to assist on multiple types of fabric & metal projects.
-Willing to work long days or overtime in order to complete jobs when necessary.
-Accurately follow work order guidelines as directed by team lead.
-Comply with all company safety policies.
For this position, construction or shop experience is preferred, but not required. Appropriate training will be provided for this position.
