Essential Functions
This job requires the individual to perform many skills related to the operations and production of the Canvas Craft Team. This Individual must be organized and detail oriented but also possess the ability to assist customer requests with a positive attitude. Candidate must have good organizational skills with an ability to multitask and accomplish many different tasks throughout the day. We look to constantly improve in all areas of the organization while we solve our customers problems with a positive hard-working attitude. The following Core Values are essential for this position.

Qualifications
AAS Welding Degree or 2-5 years of welding/fabricating experience
Welder/Metal Fabricator Responsibilities and Duties
Must be able to manufacture and fabricate products from drawings
Must follow all safe workplace practices
Must be able to set up welding equipment for the specific project
Must have aluminum Mig and Tig experience
Preferred but not required carbon steel Mig and Tig experience
Preferred but not required stainless steel Mig and Tig experience
Maintain and encourage a clean work environment
Knowledge of the following equipment: Grinder, Hand Drills, Hand Shears, Cold Saw, High Speed Miter Saw, Machining Center and other fabrication tools.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without restrictions.
Up to 20% may be on job site to help with installation.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and the ability to work with a variety of materials. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Weld together metal parts using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Operate a press brake machine to bend and shape metal sheets.
- Utilize hand tools, including wrenches, pliers, and saws, to perform tasks efficiently.
- Ensure all welds meet industry codes and standards, and are free from defects or imperfections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Load and unload materials from a rig or forklift, as needed.
- Work on projects from start to finish, including assembly, welding, and finishing.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Participate in training programs to improve welding skills and knowledge of new techniques.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding, with a focus on building and construction projects.
- Proven experience with plasma cutting and pipe threading.
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards, including those related to building construction.
- Strong understanding of hand tools and their proper use.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials, with a focus on safety and physical stamina.
- Certification in welding or a related field is highly desirable.
Some overtime may be required depending on business needs

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
