INSTALL ASSISTANT

This job requires the individual to perform many skills related to the installation of Canvas Craft products such as Awning, Canopies and Tension Structures. This Individual must be organized and detail oriented but also posses the ability to assist customer requests with a positive attitude. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

For the Installer position, we look for qualified candidates with the following attributes:

-Self-motivated, problem solver, great communicator, team player, positive can do attitude
-Willing to work long days or overtime in order to complete jobs when necessary
-Work outdoors in most weather conditions
-Willing to travel out of state as needed for installations
-Follow installation directions on all products to ensure proper and safe installation
-Willing to work at heights up to 40ft. The safe operations of equipment and tools must be performed while working at this height.
-Willing to keep install truck and shop work area clean and organized at all times with all tools, fasteners and all equipment in the correct location
-Compliant with vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety logs (fluid checks, oil changes etc.)
-Possess and maintain a clean driving record and current drivers license (Class D)
-Must be able to pass DOT drug test and physical to obtain a DOT Health Card
-Possess knowledge of using tools that include ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, hammer drills, saws, levels, ladders, etc
-Safely operate a wide range of equipment including, scissors lift, aerial boom lift, personal man lift, Lull (Preferred)
-Accurately follow work orders and shop drawings to layout measurements for proper product placement on residential and commercial buildings
-Ability to determine proper anchoring systems on various building construction.
-Ability to effectively communicate with customer, team lead and sales person to solve issues quickly and efficiently.
